Drumheller stormy wedding…

This Drumheller little church wedding was exceptional! I had so many fears about it but all was good and even more! I left Calgary at the time the strongest rainstorm I’ve ever seen in Canada. The storm was so powerful that the only option was to drive 50km per hour, sometimes less. I really was not sure I could make it. It takes more than an hour and a half to ride to Drumheller. Although I left couple hours extra, I came right on time. It’s always good to be careful!

I have never seen such a small church. These guys wanted to have an exceptional ceremony in a special place. They really surprised me with their choice! I would have never thought that Drumheller little church can fit a wedding ceremony! We could hardly squeeze in the small building of this Drumheller’s attraction. Technically it was the challenge for me.The church was so tiny that I had to use the wide angle lens to get most of my shots. I had to take the best pictures I could. As you see, bending pose was our to go option! This made my work an exceptional fun. I believe, the heaven did a blessing for this couple as by the time the ceremony was over the miracle saved us: the beautiful sunshine and gorgeous blue sky were waiting outside.

Those made the wedding session one of my best experiences for far! We had the two hour session with an amazing weather. God loves this couple and seems like I do too…

“Drumheller’s little church was first erected by local contractor Trygve Seland, in cooperation with the Ministerial Association in 1968 and was reconstructed by inmates of the Drumheller Institution in 1991. It was designed as a place of worship and mediation and not just a tourist attraction”.
